Students will work with social service organizations to engage their target population in a community mobilization/development focused event. Due to the virtual nature, the projects will be very open-ended this term. Your team will be available to work on a project, activity, event, collaboration for September through December (Fall 2020 term). The parameters are very open, the students are just looking for experience in community organizations. Great opportunity for building capacity with student lead work in this challenging world!

Some examples of student projects could include:

• social media campaign for an organization serving a vulnerable/priority population
• grant writing assistance for non-profit organizations
• researching and making recommendations on how company/government agency can adapt messaging to reach 18-35 year olds
• donor community relations or donation solicitation
• creating a virtual awareness or fundraising event
• creating a social media campaign and completing user research for an app
• survey of best practices to assist in service delivery for a vulnerable population
• communication plan or outreach campaign to community organization
