An individual or team of students from the University of California Riverside, University Extension can provide a fresh perspective, analysis, and recommendations for consideration, to support your organization with a specific problem or process. Using a consultant-friendly, project-driven approach, they will work together to research a Risk Management topic (i.e. risk management culture, data assembly, risk analysis, strategic decisions, continuous improvement, legal issues, insurance, risk management process, etc.). Students will conduct a comprehensive literature review (research) and investigate a specific risk management topic on behalf of a Client (business organization).

Any potential gaps between the literature and the practical application of the Client’s proposed topic will be identified and recommendations made for improvement.

Note: The class size will be updated, to represent the total # of students who actually select and complete a project with a Riipen partnering organization.

Final project deliverables might include:

1. A micro-presentation of key findings and recommendations.
2. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights, and recommendations
