Does your Tourism/Hospitality organization have a communication challenge you would like to solve? Creating relevant content can bring huge opportunities and make an impact on brand awareness as well as grow your company. In this project, student-writers will create reports and proposals for your organization and focus on online or other mediums. This course develops communication and academic skills needed for students to learn persuasive methods, continue their tourism education and understand the workplace environment.

Exemples de projets

Based on a current, relevant, and timely social issues that you identify, student-writers in groups of 4 - 5 will research and create content for your organization to use or distribute. The content may be created for a general audience and purpose, or as a pitch for a specific audience or media outlet.

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Tourism

Example mediums include, but are not limited to:

  • Reports and proposals
  • A digital infographic
  • A script for a 45 to 120-second audio or video story
