The students greatly enjoyed their experience working on the Living In Silico capstone project. They especially appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with Sohail Mahmood, who provided consistent guidance and created a positive learning environment throughout the semester. Students reported meaningful and productive interactions with the industry partner during meetings, which were both informative and supportive. As the project progressed, the team recognized that biweekly meetings were not sufficient to maintain momentum. Sohail M. was highly accommodating, adjusting his schedule to meet with the team weekly and maintaining strong communication through regular emails. Overall, the project was both engaging and professionally rewarding. The students found it to be a valuable real-world experience, made even more impactful by Sohail’s commitment and mentorship.
