We would like students to work alongside us on our AI app projects.

We are building a prototype app using AI and socially conscious computing to address food insecurity.

This is a great learning opportunity for anyone interested in AI and social justice.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) may:

• - Developing new features and functionality for our web applications using Python/Django and ReactJS;
• - Assisting with the maintenance of existing features;
• - Conducting unit tests on code changes;
• - Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving defects identified during testing;
• - Participating in code reviews;
• - Writing technical documentation.

Students will work closely with the founder who is supervising and available for questions. Check-ins will be done at least weekly. Technical support will be provided by university faculty who are collaborating on these projects.

Students will be provided with support in developing their knowledge translation and clear communication skills. Responses will be reviewed by project partners prior to it being added to the response database.
