LiberRated is the first diversity-first search engine, helping people find welcoming spaces—and helping businesses become more inclusive. Born from lived experience, backed by real demand, and built for belonging. Together, we’re creating access that starts with understanding.


We have completed the graphical interface for a web-based application, with some of the software development labour done, and are now seeking skilled developers to continue building out the MVP and prepare it for launch. Our goal is to develop a functional, scalable, and user-friendly web app that aligns with our design specifications.

  • HTML
  • CSS
Livrables

You will be working on an unfinished project that requires both front-end and back-end development, as well as data scraping and integration work. Candidates must be comfortable collaborating, working in existing codebases, and writing clean, readable code that can scale with the product.

We are especially interested in candidates with skills or curiosity around AI-powered features, such as personalized recommendations or natural language processing to enhance user experience.

Tech Stack

  • Front End: JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS
  • Back End: Node.js
  • Database: MongoDB
  • Additional: Data scraping, API integration
  • Nice to Have: Experience with cloud hosting (AWS, Firebase, Heroku), authentication, or AI applications

Skills & Qualities We Value

  • Proficiency in front-end, back-end, or full-stack development
  • Experience with MongoDB and React
  • Ability to write clean, well-structured code
  • Comfort working on a partially built product
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Bonus: Interest or experience in AI-enhanced features
