Description:

As the Director of Operations at Riipen I am responsible for creating effective and efficient ways of tracking particular items for the business. These are then used to measure things like KPI's, performance predictors, trend identification, etc.

Number of Students: Two teams of 5 eachNumber of Suggested Hours: 4 hours over Zoom with Riipen; hours spent for prep may varyTeam: Ashley, Director of Operations; Jessica, Director of Customer Success

Project 1: CRM and Database Optimization

We are in need of a way to track new Leads from various sources and of various types. Student teams will have the option of choosing between:

The project will include an initial meeting led by Riipen with some of our current set ups, what we are looking to accomplish and some ideas for success.

Although not a requirement, a strong final presentation could include a mock up of a free CRM build tool.

Schedule:

Week 1:Meeting with the Director of Operations to explain the problem at hand. This meeting will also include a walk through of our CRM and other ways we use objects within its structure.

Weeks 2 and 3:Students will bring their initial ideas, suggestions, questions, comments and concerns to a meeting with Riipen where they are able to zone in on a solution and refine a pitch.

Week 4 and 5:Each group will have a chance to present their pitch. The pitch should be no longer than 30 minutes to allow for at least 15 minutes of Q&A. Which week each team will present will be decided at the start of week 4 presentation, so it is required that both teams are ready to pitch. Both Director and Senior Manager will be present for final pitch.

Project 2: New Opportunity Custom Object Pitch

We are in need of a way to track opportunities in a pipeline that do not conflict with another object pipeline, and allow for seamless work by a Customer success team.

The project will include an initial meeting led by Riipen with some of our current set ups, what we are looking to accomplish and some ideas for success.
