Project Title:

Revamping ReturnPal's Website for Optimal User Experience


Project Description:

ReturnPal is seeking web developers to focus on a frontend overhaul of our current prototype website. Our aim is to elevate the user interface and experience (UI/UX) to ensure a seamless, engaging, and intuitive interaction for our customers.


Goals:

Create a visually appealing and user-friendly website design

Optimize for mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility

Implement user feedback for feature and design improvements

Project Scope:

UI/UX Design


Sketch new design concepts and create wireframes

Build interactive prototypes to test usability

Frontend Development


Transform designs into a live website using HTML, CSS, and React.js

Optimize frontend performance, focusing on speed and responsiveness

Version Control


Use GitHub for version control and collaboration among team members

User Testing


Conduct usability tests and collect user feedback for iterations

Documentation


Create a user guide and documentation for any custom code or libraries used

Skills Required:

HTML, CSS

Basic understanding of UI/UX principles

Duration:

80 hours per learner

2-4 learners

2-8 weeks in total

Deliverables:

A fully revamped frontend, adhering to modern UI/UX principles

All design assets including wireframes and interactive prototypes

A comprehensive guide to any custom code or libraries used

Support Provided:

Access to the current prototype for initial review and understanding

Availability of the individual who coded the prototype for technical questions

Weekly review meetings to track progress

Livrables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Identification of the most suitable platform
  • Development of a website using the most suitable tool
  • Recommendations for website maintenance

Bonus steps would include:

  • Testing the website with users and making improvements based on user input

Final deliverables should include

  • A website prototype.
  • A final report.
