Détails

The J (healthcare) Initiative is a nonprofit initiative with a mission is to end the toxic drug crisis by affirming drug users’ healthcare choices. We are in support of person-centred care, accommodating different treatment goals. We envision a society where people who use drugs are treated with compassion, dignity, and respect, and have access to options of comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare services that prioritize their health and well-being.

We would like to work with students to design a new email marketing campaign for our organization.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our programs, email marketing campaign goals and target market.
  • Identifying types of emails and content that our company should send out such as welcome emails, newsletters, and re-engagement emails.
  • Researching factors affecting the effectiveness of email marketing such as when emails are sent and making recommendations.
  • Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Identifying ways to personalize emails for customers based on market segmentation.
Livrables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our organization programs and goals
  • Identification of suitable email types and content
  • Understanding of factors affecting emails’ effectiveness
  • Identification of metrics to monitor the campaign’s success

Final deliverables should include

  • Templates for email newsletters
  • Organic content highlighting our interns experiences
  • Plans to distribute the email newsletter

The J Healthcare Initiative is a registered Canadian non-profit organization with a focus to empower drug users' healthcare decisions by promoting the expansion and innovating the current substance use treatment modalities in Canada and the United States.

We are interested in building the capacity for user led, evidence-based harm reduction strategies. We value self-determination, scientific evidence, harm reduction, meaningful engagement with drug users and project based learning to set up the next generation of healthcare leaders.
