The goal of this project is to develop a prototype for an internal database enrichment tool for INÉRO, INC.

The tool will function as a meta-search engine designed to aggregate data about aerospace suppliers from various sources.

Students will automate the extraction of data from social networks, PDFs, and websites, compiling this information into a cohesive and workable database.

This project will allow students to apply their knowledge of data extraction, web scraping, and database management in a practical setting.

The challenge lies in ensuring the tool efficiently collects and organizes data from diverse sources, providing a comprehensive view of the aerospace supplier landscape.

The project will also focus on ensuring data accuracy and relevance, which are critical for the database's utility.

Existing tools such as freckle.io, clay.io for which the founder could provide guideline or webscrapers such as octoparse could be used.

The primary deliverable is a functional prototype of the meta-search engine capable of aggregating aerospace supplier data from specified sources.

Students will also provide documentation detailing the tool's architecture, data sources, and extraction methods.

Additionally, a user guide will be created to assist future users in operating and maintaining the tool (ideally video recorded with written support as necessary).

The final presentation will demonstrate the tool's capabilities and highlight its potential impact on INÉRO, INC's operations.
