Business Plan Refresh for La Calebasse The Calabash
La Calebasse The Calabash is seeking to update its current business plan to align with new strategic goals and market conditions for the period of 2025-2027. The existing plan needs a comprehensive review to incorporate recent industry trends, competitive analysis, and potential growth opportunities. This project provides learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of business strategy, market research, and financial forecasting. The goal is to create a refined and actionable business plan that reflects the company's vision and objectives for the next three years. Key tasks include analyzing the current business environment, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and suggesting strategic initiatives that can drive growth and sustainability.

Website Development: adding a consulting firm to the Calabash holding
The Calabash/La Calebasse is a restaurant and exotic grocery in the heart of Quebec City, that has been serving african food for more than ten years. The comoagny plans to diversify and add a consulting firm. We hope to update and revamp our existing website to include the consulting services. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through common site building tools such as Wix, Webflow, and WordPress. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
