I am a people and culture leader and enthusiast, currently serving as the Senior Manager of People and Culture at Riipen, a platform dedicated to bridging the gap between education and industry through experiential learning opportunities. I am a generalist, overseeing everything from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, employee engagement, and off-boarding. I love sharing my passion for Riipen and the work we do to reduce underemployment and create more equitable pathways to employment for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Culture Deck Update: Research and Narrative Development
Our company culture deck is a foundational document communicating who we are, what we value, and how we work together. Over time, our company has evolved, and our current culture deck no longer captures the full picture of our team, history, and aspirations. Our goal for this project is to refresh and revitalize our culture deck to accurately reflect our current values, history, and team dynamics. Learners will review documentation, conduct research, gather insights from key team members, synthesize findings to help identify recurring themes, unique stories, and key moments in our organization's journey, and help to craft a compelling narrative about the Riipen journey and culture.

DEIB Roadmap for 2026 and Beyond: Updating Riipen's 5-Year Plan
Riipen is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where every team member can bring their whole selves to work and feel a sense of belonging (DEIB). We are looking for learners to update our DEIB 5-year plan, operationalizing the outcomes of our most recent DEIB company survey (October 2024), aligning with company values and current DEIB goals. This project focuses on addressing the unique challenges and opportunities presented by a remote work environment and a multi-generational workforce. Learners will analyze existing DEIB data, identify key trends, and propose actionable strategies that Riipen should apply in the next 5 years to enhance inclusivity and belonging across Riipen. The project will enable learners to apply their knowledge of DEIB, organizational behaviour, data analysis, content creation, effective corporate communications, and strategic planning to develop a comprehensive roadmap and updated 5 year plan that supports Riipen's DEIB objectives.
